In this video I will take you through the steps of Spray Painting this Holden VE SSV Commodore Painted in Voodoo Blue Met, Paint Code 608R using Standox Solvent Basecoat and Crystal Clear Pro HS, using a DeVilbiss GTI Pro with the T2 Air Cap for base and DeVilbiss GTI Pro lite 1.3mm TE10 air cap for clear (Tekna Pro Lite USA).
Greetings from Wyoming/USA. I got into the sales side of this business nine months ago. Since I started selling BASF automotive refinishing products, I thought I better learn the trade. Absolutely love painting and have learned a lot from your videos and talking to my painters I call on. I started with my company’s SATA 2000 HVLP 1.3 tip and just ordered the GTI Pro Lite with TE10 cap and 1.3 tip. This video showed you using the same set up but in very warm conditions. I paint in my garage and the temp is between 60 and 70 farenheight. My compressor is 40 gallons and puts out 15.5 cfm @ 100 psi. What would you recommend the psi and fluid settings be using both MS and HS clears? I want the flattest finish possible. Sorry for the long post and keep the videos coming. Thank you
