Review & Demo on the DeVilbiss SRi Pro lite. I have the TE5 Air cap and 1.2mm fluid tip, there are 3 air caps to choose from and multiple fluid tip combinations, watch the video for the full list.
I will be demonstrating on a spot repair on an ML500 Mercedes Benz in Gold Metallic clear over base.

ive always believed you get what you pay for, so i would generally buy the best i can afford at the time.
the Pro Lite looks like a gun i would invest in
I just bought this exact setup based on this review as well as other research. The main plus I found is I have a small garage compressor, here in the states it is very hard to find a quality gun that will work with home use compressors, (6.1 scam @ 40 psi.) this gun with your recommendation runs great on my air system. Doing to be doing my first shoot very soon on a 911 sun roof delete project. With single stage urethane. Wouldn’t have made this far without your awesome videos. Stuff the negative comments your doing great things and helping a lot of car guys/gals keep up the good work and Thanks.

Hi Gunny, do you have any tips on painting stainless steel hub caps. I’ve got some old 1970 Mercedes ones that I want to refurbish. It looks like the original ones are just paint direct to the steel?

I would recommend scratching the area up with some 320-400 grit as much as possible, make sure you mask the surrounding parts obviously.
wipe with wax & grease remover, then get some fine line vinyl masking tape for the edges so they don’t peel and continue to mask them ready for paint.
Preferably use a 2K epoxy primer for adhesion but if you can’t get any then you could always use an etch or wash primer, keep the material to a minimum so you don’t overload the masking edges.
The primer can either be sanded or if it looks clean (no dust etc.) you can just spray colour straight over it (allow flash time but don’t wait too long unless you decide to sand them).
Again keep the material to a minimum, less is better, it will have a better chance of adhesion and less chance of paint build up on the masking edges making an uneven edge. Good luck.
ANI R150 for my money, so should I get the 1.2 for the R150?.
Yes, for most people I would say to go with the 1.2, need be you can wind the fluid in.
