This is the first of 3 videos on this 2014 Maserati Ghibli that I am fixing a scratch in the fender, this video will cover the Primer and Prep Work, I include all aspects and explain how and why I do what I do. The car is painted in Blue Emozione or Emotion Blue with an unknown paint code to me, I ended up using a Harley Davidson factory color with a perfect match using Standox Spectrophotometer and the Genius program.

Also I am still a little confused as to what gun to buy and use I saw your episodes on the guns but still a little off on what to buy I am going to only spray maybe 5 cars in my life time but having good paint and a hood gun will help the job finish well plus I want to keep the gun for years to come can you help us again
Thank you for your quick response when you get a chance do a review for us i’d like to make some suggestions about paint product names like
Mipa paints
Hichem
Ppg
Rust o luem
Dupicolour
KBS coating
POR15
You many not get all these paints. But to discover what is the best the good and the average also expense is also a factor. I saw the episode on concept paints and I stop in buying the product only to hear that it takes forever to dry and buff for a good finish there is got to be something affordable that finishes well also I cannot afford paints In the $1200 and $1500 range is there other suggestions but if I have to spend $1000 so be it. Looking forward to a new episode on paint review
